In the photographic image we see the Chilean-English dancer Doreen Young who, together with Jan Kaweski, was a Ballet and Dance teacher at the Municipal Theater of Santiago in the late thirties. Doreen Young displayed in her dances different influences from other cultures, such as oriental influences. She performed with folkloric costumes, instruments from various cultures, as well as structures of movement that emulated oriental ethnic dances.
